Do you know, does squash give off the same nitrients that squash does for the 2 sisters?
I was going to plant the pumpkins too for my neice and nephew for Halloween. I am excited to do that for them.

Thank you for that site. I have called and ordered a catalog. I may end up ordering for next year since i have all my seeds bought. I look forward to Southern Exposure catalog though. I do want to order for next year.

Ed- Hi- I have the pleaseure of getting some black green beans that were on the Trail of Tears. The person i got them from is a Saponi-Cherokee and he told me to let the corn gat a foot high than plant the beans. The only question I have, will pumpkin be ok, or does it have to be squash? I am not too keen on squash yet. I am trying. I have a Indian body with the severe lactose intolerance I have inheritated. So I am trying to eat like our forefathers. Not always easy when you have a hubby who does not like a lot of stuff. I would plant squash, just need to know which ones and have recipes. Peace.
