Why Do You Want to Join Saponitown Forum?:

The oral history of my mothers family is that my grandfather's grandmother was Blackfoot, left with a hill family when her family was moved. I have not had much success with the genealogy, ( the census reports her as white) but I believe my family's oral history and the pictures of my great grandmother bear witness.. So I would like to find out more. The family eventually settled in the Ozarks.
