Why Do You Want to Join Saponitown Forum?:
My Greatgrandmother is listed as Rhal Hayes in 1900 census and Rhael Hayes in 1910 census..I'm guessing that this name is short for Rachel, don't know for sure...She is Indian, but I can't find her before 1900...My only clue is, she uses Rhael S.A. Hayes in 1910 census, so i've been researching S.A.Hayes....I've found him in Tn, Ky,Oh,Nc...also I found that Hayes is one of the names the Saponi and Tutelo started using when they took on English names....
