- I am researching my Gibson family and after many years of brick walls, I think I'm making breakthroughs.
I believe my great-great grandfather was William Gibson who was married to a woman named Hannah Mohawk. I believe William was the son of Martin Gibson who was from North Carolina. I am still working on these things so I can't be 100% sure yet.
