- I am looking for Native American family. My greatgrandmother was a full blood Native American she was what they called Blackfoot. My grandmothers name was Lula Mae Wooten Whitted. She married my grandfather Elijah Whitted our line of Whitteds' came from Auther Whitehead.His grandmother or great grandmother was full blood Cherokee,from NC.Her name was Nancy Panther. In the thread I saw a young man with Whitted/Whitehead in his family.
