Great Grandma Cheek was a Cherokee, thats what I was told.. Well, she wasn't. She was German.. There were however other Indians in the family tree as I have discovered doi9ng research into the family tree in the last few years.. My Mothers family looked down on the Cheeks, because they were Indian.. Turns out mothers family was more Indian than my fathers..
