Biography:
Started researching my family about 10 years ago.


Some of my family is originally from Southwest Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Tennessee before moving to the Platte area of Missouri in the early 1800's. Before this migration there are dead ends in records and orphans in the Jones line. I have photographs of dark non-Caucasian looking people and have been curious of their ethnicity and origin for 10 years now. I am wondering if my family possibly has Saponi ancestry?

Maternal surnames ---McDougall, Foe, Clark, Mills, Hurd, Burrit, Morris, Bowen, Lewis, Durham.

Paternal surnames ---Jones, Silvers, Potter, Turner, Banks, Weathermon, Vestal, Hobson Colburn, Smith, Bird, Trullinger, Drollinger, Klemmer, Lottholz, Fuess, French, Miller, Horton, Tilton, Lum, Moore, Dowland, Battaile, Mackall, Medford, Harrison, Schooler(Schuyler), Ingles.
