    This is my first day on this site. I stumbled upon as I was searching for some Shirley family info. Up popped a page displaying a forum where you were helping out someone questioning about his Shirley surname, along with others. I noticed that your surname list included a couple of mine: McKee and Hamrick. AND that you were from Indiana. Boone Co., In was where my ancestors landed, via VA, and KY. I thought you could get me started on researching to see if there is any Native blood running through my Shirley ancestors.

    I found your old posting & have been searching loong to find the correct trible affiliation for my family since they have so carefully hidden it away. My GGrandmother was Eliza Robeson, my Grandmother Rebecca Jane Scott. They are from Greene Co., Ohio.
