Why Do You Want to Join Saponitown Forum?:

My Dad told me we are part Blackfoot and Cherokee. He said it as one word 'Cherokee-Blackfoot'. The story goes my Great-Grand Father (Irish immigrant) worked on the railroad in TENN and married an Indian woman (Cherokee-Blackfoot). The records I've found are really sketchy - and to make matters worse, my Grand Father ran away at 9 years old, eventually joined the Army -but along the way modified the spelling of our name. Some say the name may have been Robin, the current spelling is Robbins (what he changed it to). I have no parents or grand parents left now, and siblings are not interested in Dad's heritage.
