I dont know you and you process or motivations. Others may know more about you. What i am picking up is you are very busy, very devoted but maybe a bit rushed to get this information out there. There is pressure somewhere inside or outside yourself. Please excuse my therapist self showing up!
So here hear my first experiance here.
My first days here i hit a post about Native American Spirituality that was very negative. It stopped me for a long time from discovering the kindness, cooperation, knowledge, skill, and general good will from most of the people here. We are all kinds and colors. There are those that are much more formal especially in the forum/thread you posted on. Others just take any hint of the connections to Native American lines and run with it . There is a good balance here so please wait and see. I do not know the relationships with various tribes and do not spend my time on the conflicts. I feel you will have a fair reception here. There is not enough time for us not to work together… with the protionism of tribes and the “false pride” of those that know for sure they are Native American does not mean those of us still in search of our history are less than. I have never known any person here to be say Shawnee or Lakota, or any other tribe is not welcome! Just qualify your statements and i feel you did to your satisfaction. Dreamhawk is skilled and has guidelines he follows as moderator. He and others others can probably help.

It is my nature not get involved with conflict but i do hve a personal reason to speeking up. I have several names on your list and recognize there here that could match up. If we work together to make sure the documentation is correct then the research can go faster for all of us.
