Jeanette, From my research it was never proven John Austin Sr had two wives and was said Hannah (Saponie) Love was Saponi Indian. Two of John Sr sons were declared by a Surry County Court to be Saponi and the other two sons were said to Mulegeons therefore the belief they were all of the same mother. Joseph my Descendent was her guardian and witness on many documents after John Sr passed away. My family still resides in Pittsylvania County, Virginia.
