My family oral history is Blackfoot. The Huff name is not in my line, but I have seen the name come up in my GedMatch DNA + genealogy matches. If these are the same as your Huffs the migration pattern fits. The earliest one I’ve seen in other’s genealogy is Leonard Huff b 1720 d 1800. m.1743 Elizabeth Stout of Halifax Co VA.
