    Linda (Carter),

Do you or anyone have any information on Lynches in Martin Co. NC. My gr grandfather had a brother named Prymus Lynch. I found his children living in an area called Bethel. Could Lynch also be a Tuscarora name. There are plenty of Lynches in Halifax and Warren Counties…especially in Hollister…..I do know that Martin Co was at one time a part of Halifax…. could the migration have taken place and some stayed in what is now Martin and others stayed in what is still Halifax? I also know that the Haliwa Saponi people also have Tuscarora bloodlines. I read in Warrenton history that the early inhabitants of Warren Co. were Tuscarora and Saponi….
