OK, I will ‘fess up. I did the genetree DNA test too for percentages. The results came back today. It states that I am 90 percent European, 5 percent East Asian, and 5 percent Native American. And that explains the nose I have had all these years.

Tell us about your nose hehehe…….My husband has a big big one LOL myself I didn’t get that trait. Where does the east Asian come from? Do you know? I’ve been thinking about doing that test myself. What all did you have to do….what questions did they ask you?

Not sure the East Asian. No family stories to match. Not sure what differences there are between NA and Asian markers, if that might be the explanation, that it comes from the NA. However, my sister had a face lift a few years ago that insurance covered, because her eye “folds” had fallen so much, she had trouble seeing. The plastic surgeon told her that there had to be “Mongolion” or other Asian in her background to have eyes like that.
The test was just the cheek swab. I cannot recall that they asked much more than basic info, although the packaging was confusing. It is the same packaging for a variety of their tests, and it was confusing to know what to answer to. I skipped a lot and still got the info.

you know my eyes fold over quite a bit too….I’ve been accused of having “bedroom eyes” 🙂 I can’t wear eye shadow either you can’t find it in the fold. It’s been that way my whole life. I use to say dang these eyes they get me into trouble lol My ex brother in law gave me the CB handle “pretty eyes” years ago. I have dark blue eyes and my husband says when i am angry or when I’m….we won’t talk about that…well anyway he says they turn black. My ex husband use to say your eyes are black woman…then one day he got mad at me and says your not white your a damn indian…and i said yep you got that right buster LOL
