Would someone please post some photos or send me old photos of what the women dressed like at the pow wow’s? I have heard of long dresses and aprons. I just want to get it correct when I dress at pow wows. Thank you!!! 🙂
What type dress are you thinking of wearing?
My first regalia outfit is my avatar picture. I now have two outfits. I made a homespun skirt, shawl, and neckerchief for my second outfit, pairing it with a muslin shirt. I used a simple waistband and drawstring for ease of slipping on the skirt (I always wear a tank top and shorts underneath).
