Thanks Marc for the heads up on this book. Vance is a very learned man in regards to the Yeasah. I have read numerous articles he has written and have chatted with him via FB. I just ordered and cannot wait to get it.
Thank you Tomahawk, according to Family Search my King bloodline is of the Carey-King bloodline. I wasn’t sure if those records were correct thats why I posted the question here on the forum. Thank you. I seem to be a mixed native as much as the Lumbee. Blackfoot Saponi, Nanticoke-Mattamuskeet, and now it appears to be Meherrin also.
Mine comes through Henry King, brother to the Michael King you mentioned in the thread. Hello cousin.
Thanks Marc, I have those census, I never thought of looking at the neighbors (Im just a novice). Regarding who the family married into on my bloodline was the Smiths. Also Susans mother was a Daily and her grandmother was Robinson. According to Familysearch the Saunders/Sanders came from the Loudoun/Fairfax area of Virginia. Was there a Saponi presence in this area around 1750’s through 1800’s?
