Native American genealogy research from the Piedmont of NC & VA
A family in Oregon found this fawn on their front steps a few weeks ago and took this photo. The white spots on the steps are apple blossom petals. As you know, deer hide their fawns and go away for awhile. The fawns have no odor yet, and naturally stay absolutely still.
Isn’t this an amazing photograph! A great job of camouflage! The fawn stayed there all morning, (they live in Bend, OR), and the mama came to get it after 4-5 hours. Praises to the people for leaving the fawn alone, knowing Mom would be back.
THE MOM “HID” HER BABY ON THE BROWN STEPS WITH WHITE SPOTS.

Hello Brenda,
I see no picture, however it does sound like a neat one! Really nothing came through that I could see.
I head out tomorrow, destination Wise, VA to attend the numerous family research related affairs going on there this week. Hope to do lots of research, and will be on the lookout for our mysterious Meredith Collins.
Hope your surgery is successful and my prayers are with you.

Because I couldn’t get it to open I sent the picture to Linda. I hope she can get it to open because it is so cute.
PS. I will be going in for pre op test on June 24th and they will operate July 1st….While you guys are celebrating the 4th eat an extra piece of watermellon for me. Doctors say I will be in the hospital from 5-8 days and can recover at home after with a nurse. Linda has my telephone number if anybody would care to give me a ring.
Brenda
I just uploaded the pic and added it to Brenda’s post.
It looks cute too!
