Hello , this topic is very relavant here I hope, I once heard of Kennewick Man, Spirit Cave, man; now the Windover Bog Cemetary etc. here a link to view and check out the theories of race!

Kennewick man looks like Patrick Stewart, aka Capt. Jean-Luc Picard, of the star ship Enterprise. Maybe that’s because they didn’t put hair on him.
I hope they bury him back near where they found him.

There are about 12 of these very old graves that are adding some huge confusion to the old theories. Recently there has been several published on the web that people need to have a look at. I found one site that had a link to an argument re the existence of race!
Aswell we could really learn a great deal about how we precieve our history, look for Kennewik Man, Spirit Cave Man and all will have links to other sites.
There is this theory of race being linked to a first Nation identity, some thing that has really bothered me because if you look at groups like the Sami ( Lap Landers) the Ainu of japan and the Kanti- Mansi(sp) of Siberia you start to see how race become irrelavent, almost as rediculous as Treaty rights being racial definitions when they are really politiacl ones, something to really consider here!

🙂 By george, I think you’re on to something here. This really is more interesting than I was thinking in the beginning. But, beginnings are always so awkword, aren’t they? 🙂 I did get to read the first one about “Luzia.” This is gaining my interest. I printed up their list for further research and I’ll do the other links this week end. It’s fascinating the way they can recreate a face, too. Don’t you think? I know Our people were here long before any of those first folks. I know we’ve been here a lot longer than that. I guess what this thread is and will be all about now and in the future is People of the Americas.
I don’t hold with the Siberian theorry for all of North and South America.
There some really neat work being done even with ocean floor sediments and testing to see what types of insects were there!
I support the fact that there is relatives for the northern people as a circum polar trait but not for everyone!
So people-ing the Americas have come from every where, and by joining the folks that were already here added to the cultures, there huge theories out there, my favorite is that the South American Native peoples came into the Southeastern USA from the Carribean Islands, something that has a great deal of evidence !
