Hey guys,
Linda suggested I post this to see if anyone has any idea what is going on and how to correct it. My friend Bobbie signed on earlier in the week. But all she can get is the first page with all the forums. When she clicks on a forum, she gets the purple page that should have all the posts on it. But, she gets blank spaces instead. The only thing she gets is the names of the people who placed the posts. So, she can only bring up members. There’s nothing there for her to click on. :confused: Does anyone have any idea what is going on with her computer? I thought mabe it was a cookie thing….But then what do I know!:D She’s chomping at the bit to join us, but can’t seem to make it work. If anyone has any ideas, Bobbie and I would both greatly appreciate it. When I brought up the cookie thing to her son, he’s high school age, he just looked at me and shook his head. So, if that’s it, I’ll need someone to walk me through the proceedure. Maybe my Glenn can do that. If he can fit me in!!!;) Well, thank you all and Love & Light, Lynella.
Glenn suggested that she might be using Netscape Navigator, he said it rearranges the furniture:confused: ???????? And that she needs to be using Internet Explorer. What planet is he from? :p I know Planet Bailey! But, i’ll check on that in the morning. Thank you guys for any input you may have. Love & Light, Lynella.

Well, don’t assume that my screen name means I have the answer. My degree is in educational technology, not computer repair. So, I have no idea if this is a good suggestion or not, but have her try downloading the java plugin and installing it as a plugin for her browser.
BTW, Netscape works for me on both my Mac and PC to access this forum.

Sometimes on my older computer (a Pentium II) the forum would show up as a blank blue page with just the picture at the top and maybe a header or two. I used to close all my programs, (I usually have a bunch of windows open at once), then open IE again and come back to the site.
Most of the time it worked the second time around.
I know I don’t have enough RAM on that machine to be flipping from one page to another like I do and it would get frustrating because the machine couldn’t keep up with my reading!
