Hi, My name is Anna.. I have been researching my family Genealogy for some time now. For some reason I have focused on my Great Grandmother’s lineage… But today- I started the search on my Great Grandfather’s.. His name is Collintine Page- and here is the lineage that I have… Maybe these names are familiar to anyone? My mother always told me that we were part “Blackfoot Indian” and to be honest, I had not found the connection (until today), and therefore I really did not believe her.
(She says that she knew she was part Indian- that she felt it in her Bloodlines- LOL!)
Anyway- Here is my Family History..
My GG Granfather- Collintine Page B-Dec1889 D-Jul1977..
His father is Leonidas Lafayette Page B-1846 D-Apr1916..
(there is a story between these two that is very interesting)
His father is Obediah Page Jr. B-1825 D-1867..
His father is Obediah Page Sr. B-1780 D-1862 – he was married to Elizabeth Duffy; they are from Wake Co. NC

I know it has been some time since I posted my last post.. But I am just getting around/having enough time to get back into my research. My question is How exactly is the Page Family related to the Blackfoot (Saponi) Indians? I am curious to know.. who married who? In all my research I cannot figure this out?
Through the stories in my family ‘folklore’ I have always been told that I am related to the “Blackfoot Indians” .. I just want to find the actual link.. :confused:
Anyone that would have any information..
