Hawkins Bowman

An interesting fact about Hawkins Bowman! Although he was married and had children with Nancy Barbour as the “Indian Blood Runs Deep in Harlan …” article states, he also married Elizabeth Mason on 12/25/1838 in Harlan Co, KY according to records. As I stated before, Hawk was my gr.gr.gr. grandfather. The record states that Justice of the Peace John Lewis performed the marriage.
