Hi,
I tried putting in information, but I have lost it all. I will try again.
Wm F Jones born 22 MAY 1806 VA ( I do not know his parents)
married 11 MAR 1830 Flemingsburg KY
Rachel Hinton b 1808 KY
I would like to find Wms parents and family as well.
I was emailed by a distant cousin that Wms parents fled the Trail of Tears from down south .She was always told that there Cherokee in our family. I was told Blackfoot.
Wms sons daughter is her Great Great Grandmother.
Wm and Rachels children are:
Thomas Jackson,Fielding,Amanda,Ezekiel,Eliza,Mary Francis,Mahlon,Wm Marshall,Chas Nute.
Rachels mother is also from one of the tribes down in KY her name was Rua or Ruahama. I was told by another distant realative in KY that she was from the John Ross family.
Can I have help that someone with more knowledge would be able to help me?

Didn’t this William F. Jones marry Rachael Carpenter, b.1808 Fleming Co, whose mother was Rachael Hinton who m’d John Carpenter on 26 Nov 1796 in Mason Co (later Fleming Co), Ky?

I have seen that some other place- and I believe that was another Wm and Rachel. I was in touch with a cousin by phone from Paris KY who just passed away from cancer, and she was from the line I posted. But I have seen another Wm F. It gets confusing when that name is popular and used so much. Thanks 🙂
