We received a complaint that private information had been published on a recent thread concerning a Person County cemetery. It is our policy to never publish anything a family member wishes to remain private, so we have removed the thread involved. We do want to make it clear, however, that the individuals involved did so with the full knowledge and blessings of the pertinent Chief. They have been generously and copiously volunteering their time and hard work to help others find their family roots and deserve only commendations and appreciation. Any anxiety this issue has brought to them was wholly undeserved. They have always conducted their research with the utmost respect and consideration. It’s unfortunate this was not understood by all involved.

I just linked to Saponitown from another link that is on the web when you type in Cheroenhaka Nottoway. The post I made regarding my family tribal connections is posted on the web. When you click on the link it brings you back to my post. Go online and type in Cheroenhaka and scroll down until you see the link that has part of my post and you will see what I am talking about. Maybe that is what happened with the cemetery information you mentioned in this thread. How are our post coming up as links online if a certain work or name is mentioned in our post and someone puts that same word or name in the address bar.
