Hi everybody!
Well, I am sitting here typing this post and I am in great pain, Bleeding, And just not moving to well! Let me explain: Here in Florida, As many know, Is the “BUG” haven for North America. The one thing that you do not do is….”GET DRUNK AND LEAVE THE BACKDOOR OPEN WITH THE PORCHLIGHT ON!”
Reason: Orthopods are located on the bottom of the foodchain. Likewise if one leaves the door open and they enter the dwelling. The result is that other creatures which are higher on the foodchain have a natural desire to follow them.
Result:
(1) 1 1/2 hours with “Flyswatter”
(2) 14 American Green Treefrogs
(3) 22 Cuban Brown Treefrogs
(4) 3 American Green Anoles
(5) 12 Cuban Brown “Big Headed” Anoles
(6) 4 Medditarian Geckos
(7) 6 Indo Pacific Geckos
(8) 1 Banana Spider (He seen that the backdoor was open so he did his best to weave me a screendoor)
* NOTE: This is a working list as the relocation procees has yet to be completed. (They are hiding and waiting for me to go to sleep!)
In the process of capture and relocation, I have knocked over bookshelves, upturned cabinets, And knocked myself stupid! Hey, You try catching Geckos and Treefrogs with a nasty hangover, And before coffee!!!!!! So being a Veteran whom has survived three wars, I end up getting my ass kicked by “winged” and “Sticky toed” varmints!!
Joe
PS. I’m going back to bed!!!!!!!!!!
August 10, 2006 at 5:46 pm #22622I don’t even have to drink to get bloodsuckers in the house…just leave the porch light on and let the cats run back and forth in and out the door…which is a grand game to them. Or just go out in the garden and try to pick peas and beans….they love me.
Can’t say I identify with you….shoot, don’t know what half them critters are…but, maybe you should consider drinking pepsi and mountain dew….a lot safer….hope you are soon critter free….
