Buffalo Lick/Sand Lick

Here is an interesting link that speaks of Buffalo Lick, which would later become Sand Lick. It also talks of the plentiful hunting grounds and buffalo that were in the area, thus the name Buffalo Lick. My George Gibson lived here (the family lived in the Grundy area for years) and is mentioned in the article as being one of the first members of the Sand Lick Baptist church.
