Hi, just thought I would touch base, I have not been around for a while, great to see you guys still active. Have been working on my lines below, would still like to compare family info. My family has been getting alot of DNA family studies done, Goins, Minor and Sizemore. It has been interesting. 🙂 Anyway just thought I would check in and say hi!
December 15, 2006 at 5:12 pm #24095Hey Melungeon, I recieved your email but the reply wwas returned, but to answer your question, “no” I am sorry I do not have any info on that man, the reason I was posting there was because I have several names in common with the contents of the post.

December 15, 2006 at 5:12 pm #24101Melungeon,
Would you be willing to share your Anderson’s. I also have Anderson’s; John Anderson m. Jane Vail, their son David Anderson m. Jane Hackney, their daughter Mary m. Squire Adkins. Anything sound familiar?

December 15, 2006 at 5:12 pm #24125I will look, None of those names sound familiar, I am just gettign info in on my Anderson’s they have been a little illusive. My Andersons actually foloowed the same migration route as those considered Melungeon, but they were not listed on the 1835 Hawkins census as FPC as my others were. My NAdersons do go back to the Sizemores if that helps.
December 15, 2006 at 5:12 pm #24126Thanks Melungeon, my direct line did not go to Tenn. from NC, but went into KY (Floyd/Pike) and then back to VA. I have not traced my Anderson’s very far, with a name like Anderson, well you understand (there are sooo many).
