I am trying to find the parents of James Percy Webb. He was married to Maggie Mae Farmer. and had many children, one was my father Robert Edward Webb. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

James Percy Webb. b. 1879 d. 1962 was married to a Maggie Mae Farmer. I have been told he born and died in Edgecombe Co., NC.
here is some info on James Percy’s wife. Child #6 was my father.
Maggie Mae7 Farmer (Ellen6Ferguson, Hartwell5, Jacob4, Jacob3, Nimrod2, Isaac1) was born on 2 May 1893 at Riceville, Pittsylvania County, Virginia. She married James Percy Webb. She died on 31 Mar 1953 at Rocky Mount, Edgecombe County, North Carolina, at age 59.
Children of Maggie Mae7 Farmer and James Percy Webb were as follows:
- i. Katherine Louise8; born 5 Aug 1916 at Rocky Mount, Edgecombe County, North Carolina; died 14 Dec 1970 at Pelham, Caswell County, North Carolina, at age 54.

This household was listed a second time in error on Sheet 15A, lined out and a note that this household was listed on sheet 4A.
The additional info on sheet 15A is that James Farmer was a Watchman in a Cotton Mill and his son James H. was a Knitter in a Mill. Edith was listed as 3 months old and James P. Webb is listed as “Percy J. Webb” with all other info the same.
James P. Webb is listed as born in Colorado in 3 different census years, 1920, 1910 & 1900. I initially thought this birthplace was ‘anomalous’ info but when I found him on the 1900 census living with his parents and still shown as born in Colorado, and not finding them yet in 1880, I’d go with the ‘Colorado’ unless something else turns up 🙂
