Born In Virginia Could Actually Be Another State

I found this quite interesting. I was looking on the Kentucky Geneweb site and it had some valuable information I thought I’d pass it on here.

It says that if your research says that a person was born in Virginia between the years of 1728 to 1863, they could indicate that he/she was born in different state. So if you are having trouble finding documentation, you may have to look in anothe state.
