Green Corn Ceremonies

Speaking of events, before the Pow Wow scene there was the gren corn ceremonies, these I beieve were much like the plains sun dance ceremonies , religous events.

I have been at the latter but I have not been at a G. C. C. but have been invited years ago, distance did not allow me to attend.

However this is something that if any of you are close to the folks that still do these you may want to ask for permission to attend andperhaps a friend would be kind enough to host you.

Just something to be aware of.
