September 30, 2007 at 3:03 pm #28547How sad. He will be missed. Thank you so much for notifying us, Laurie. How did you learn of this?
Would someone like to volunteer to review his posts and write up a little summary of what he shared with us here? Does anyone have any contacting information for his family? Someone who could be contacted if some kin in the future turns up here and would like to connect with them?

I was reveiwing some of his posts as I know they were always so considerate, caring, sharing and informative. For those looking for him, as he often pointed out his user name here is Aubrey G. Cole not to be confused with username Greywolf.
September 30, 2007 at 3:03 pm #28550Thank you for the kind words Wachinika…he was indeed a wonderful and fun research cousin….we shared many many phone conversations together and I will miss him immensely. I spoke again tonite with his wife Darlene and this is a very difficult time for them all….she and Aubrey have 4 adult children and numerous grandchildren. Perhaps a nice card or private prayer is in order. I hope to speak with his daughter tomorrow and share some of hsi research with her in the near future. I have alot that he sent me to still scan. I’m not certain at this juncture if any of his direct line are “into” genealogy like he was so passionate about but I do know that Tarcarion is the closest to him via ancestry (from this site). For certain his work here needs to remain so that others can share it and learn from what he knew. I’m just so sad and miss his stories and laughter already. Take care and thanks for replying.~~~Laurie
