This is along the lines we talked about before of studying migrations. For now I’ll just post the links and get back to more later. I ended up at Mt. Tabor in Rusk co Texas by looking for one name and his wife but ended up finding much more!!:) 🙂 I’ve spent all day trying to figure this out and………..I’m too tired to post it all!!! The links,

I found the Red Eagle site most interesting upon seeing the surnames Venters and Jones mentioned together. Several weeks ago on FTDNA’s YDNA site, my father had a match with a descendent of the Jones family but I didn’t give this much thought because of the surname difference and in the GEDCOM no male or female Venters were mentioned. I also assumed they were Euro/Americans living in Choctaw Indian Territory in Oklahoma, this match is difficult to figure out, also I don’t remember the contact persons name, and will have to search through all matches with a GEDCOM.
Male Venters descendents did move from N Carolina to S.Carolina,Tenn, Miss, Kent,Texas, Kansas, Ariz,Cali, Mass etc. I was not going to read the link to the website at all there is lots of information for researching this family,thank you.

I wanted to show some connections here.
First of all was Grant Allen married to two Ware girls. One son in the database as Thompson Ware Allen. Grant Allen is a grandson of William Hunt Allen and Mary Lewis. The two Ware sisters are children of Thompson Ware. Thompson is son of James Ware and Catherine Todd.
Philip White married Lucy Mills. They are also in this database. Philip is a son of Barrett White. My Mary White and Memucan Allen had a daughter Elizabeth Allen who married a Penny and then Chichester Hanks. The Penny (thomas) is a son of Frances White married to John Penny. Frances is a daughter of Barrett. I still cannot place Mary White’s parents. Memucan Allen and Grant Allen are related. (Memucan my direct line)
William Walker married Elizabeth Clopton. William is a brother to my line of Elizabeth Walker (married Robert Allen) There are some Tandy Walker’s in family.
There is a Lucy Tanner born Nov 15, 1786 in the database. Va. Haven’t connected her yet but hmmmm……and more!:) 🙂
James Anderson Hunt married Anna Adair Bridges. Anna descends from William Adair born c1719 and Mary Moore. William is a brother of James Adair. James Hunt is a grandson of Memucan Hunt.
William, Sampson, Caleb and Maxwell Moncrief are brothers. William’s son William married Martha Ferebee. Their son Sampson married Sophia Brashears, daughter of Zadoc Brashears and Susanna Vaughn. Another son of William Sr. is Caleb who married Jane Blackburn. Their son James Blackburn Moncrief married one of the Stott girls of my Stott’s in Southern Indiana. Jane Blackburn, daughter of James Blackburn and Jane Rankin. The locations of the people and their relations early on in that they connect to Mt. Tabor later is interesting. Saj
