Hello all,
I Sure have missed reading the posts here.Life has taken many turns since I was here (Aug.07).
I am trying to locate info on Benjamin Going b. abt 1763 Halifax/Patrick co.VA
d. abt 1835 Surry co. NC.
My line comes from his daughter, Martha “Patsy” Gowen b. abt 1799 Patrick co.VA (married to Thomas Pinnion/penion/Pinson). Hope you can help me out here.

This does show Benjamin Going in Patrick co Va and then in Surry co NC. He is in the 1810 Surry co NC census. Where he is mentioned in the section on James I wonder if he could be a brother. The only Benjamin I found in the time frame was son of Agnes a daughter of Edward. And there was a marriage of a Benjamin Going to Elizabeth Stevens 13 April 1792 in Patrick co Va. Don’t know if this helps..Saj
