Hi Family,
I haven’t been here in a while–I know. I just wanted to wish everyone a safe weekend because I saw there’s a bad winter storm headed up the coast. I’m sure some of you are already experiencing it. So stay safe and stay warm!

I have some cuzns back out your way. I was told about 14″ of this white stuff hit you guys. We’re still without, so far. The weather man says we’re about to get our first winter storm, MAYBE. we should be in for a white Christmas.

We had a lot more in our area than Durham and Raleigh did. Of course Person county is always like the redheaded stepchild, gotta be different….and goes unnoticed. We had about 6 inches of snow, sleet and freezing rain. Thankful that we were able to get out and get to work on Monday. It sure was pretty seeing it coming down and getting up Saturday to see the ground covered in white….went out and took pictures of the Christmas decorations and the woods.
