Hughes in Western NC

I have a gggggg Grandfather John Hughes married to an Indian Princess Kezia. They were in Western NC in the late 1700-early 1800’s. They had a son (my ggggg) Jeremiah Hughes who married a NA who he traded two horses for. And of that was her name. They lived in Yancey County, NC. Some say she was Osage, some say Sioux and some Blackfoot. Any help would be appreciated.
