Can anyone tell me where Meherrin Parish was located at in Brunswick Co. Va. ?
My ancestors lived in Brunswick Co. Va. Isaac Harris & Mary Polly Lynch, they had a number of Children, and after Isaac Harris died in the 1770’s the Church wardens of Meherrin Parish bound out several of their children.. I think by 1780 most of the Harris children had migrated from Brunswick Co. Va. to Rutherdord Co. N.C., and Greenville Co. S.C…
I believe my Harris & Lynch families were part of the Fort Christanna Saponi people.
