I wanted to make available some Google Earth overlay maps that I’ve been working on to aid in your genealogical research.

This file will be a work in progress and will be updated accordingly.

If you’d like to save this file to your computer, it’s not “read only” so you can edit it – delete things you may not need, add your own maps, etc.

The file “Delaware Maryland Virginia Genealogy Maps.kmz” contains:

> Indian Villages > content includes historic + modern placemarks

> Landmarks, broken down by state

> Maps > historic “hundreds” maps as well as cadastral maps (landowner’s names and locations on map) + modern maps

The above format is subject to change, and if you have additions you can contribute, feel free to post your own KMZ files.
