OK cuz’s, who’s responsible for our weather this year? We were hit hard last week and I understand we’re going to get hit again. It’s been so cold for so long, I’m going to have to cut some more wood. I think you all up North West are responsible?
Anyone else get hit hard?
February 7, 2011 at 8:13 am #35757Hey, we sent our bad weather north so our kinfolks in Sedalia could enjoy it! I have a lot of family there, lived there for five years myself back in the 60’s.
February 7, 2011 at 8:13 am #35761I know I can’t wait for warmer weather to be here. We did have quite a nice day yesterday, but predictions of snow again on Thursday. We have had more snow here than I remember in a long time. And as far as who is responsible??? Probably the mistreatment of Mother Earth by man….but, also we have outgrown our earth…..and Creator has a way of controlling the population…
February 7, 2011 at 8:13 am #35762Try 24″ of snow. Depressing to get up to yet another 3 yesterday! You cannot safely pull out of the alley onto the main road, because you can’t see around the drifts.

February 7, 2011 at 8:13 am #35763Nope, didn’t come from here, its been downright tropical, both in temp and in rain, good thing I live above the flood plain. We did have a nasty blizzard back in November, but I managed to escape to sunny San Francisco. Maybe it’ll get cold here later when I’m in Hawaii….
Now when I lived in northern Japan, we measured the snow in meters, and I actually got to see ice floes on the ocean.
February 7, 2011 at 8:13 am #35771Way too warm for the Northwest to be the culprit. It’s warm enough we’re barely having to heat the house.
February 7, 2011 at 8:13 am #35773Finally this week we are having some seasonable temps in the 60s, if the wind would just stop. It was good that the last snow fizzled out and was just rain. I am ready to powwow and get outside. Hope everyone has a great happy hearts day!
February 7, 2011 at 8:13 am #35798This morning I received a very welcome Birthday greeting from the denizens of Saponitown. I wanted to take the opportunity to thank all of those who have offered a helping hand and a kind word or gesture, as I attempted to find the ‘other side ‘ of my identity.
The kind and helpful attitude of my Saponitown brothers and sisters has led me to a pretty good understanding of a side of the family that was nearly lost entirlely. Thanks for helping me pull on the thread.
Pretty soon it will be spring (my spring starts on March 1st), and we will all be glad. My thanks and good wishes, ( smoke and prayers, as some would say). With gratitude. Threecrows.
