Finally, the forum is back up, all but the control panel, so I can’t send an email yet to everyone, letting everyone know that we’re up and running.
As to what happened, my web host’s server died. 130 sites were rendered nonfunctional and could only be restored by switching them to a different server. Fortunately, no data was lost,. A lot of those people were depending on those sites for a livelihood, so I thought it best to wait our turn patiently. These forum databases are very tricky to get configured correctly. My host got only 10 hours of sleep last week. I’m grateful for the time he put in figuring out what our problem was,. It wasn’t something I had access to, so we had to wait on him, I know of people with other hosts in these situations who’ve never gotten elements to work again, were just left to move their sites.
On the bright side, it’s great knowing how much the forum was missed. Thanks everyone, for your concern. NO, I DIDN’T BAN ANYBODY, AND NO, NOBODY HACKED US. Just one of those things.

Was pleased this morning to find you back up and running. I did miss the forum. We have become like a family here and it is my morning fix with my morning cup of coffee.
Now it is going to be my turn to take leave. Our house sold and we are moving to a new home. The papers will be signed on Wednesday morning and it may take a while to get everything back online. We are excited but also a little sad to be leaving the home that I was where I shared my life with my beloved Jerry. On the other hand the new home backs up to Forge Pond where there is a campgrounds at the other side and from what we are told swimming ,canoes, and fishing is great. The grands will think they are in heaven. Right now we are living out of boxes and can’t find anything. If I disappear for a while everybody will know where I have gone. Great to have you back and know we all missed you.
