Hi all,
Have a question. I know I have seen the Williams name come up in different forums. Wanted to know if anyone may have any information on Edith Williams b.1931 around the Louisville, Ky area? Her mom was Emma Warner b. 1901. Her dad was Jesse Williams b. 1896. his dad was Lodge Williams b.in mid 1800″s. They lost many family members to a fire when Edith was a small girl. She married Fred Easley from Georgia. Any information would help her connect to her family.

I took a quick look at this but wasn’t able to pin anything down. I added it to my re-check list.

Once again like so many others her family had the Tight Lip Syndrome! Any information you come up with would be most appreciated.

Was your Lodge Williams ever in Georgia, as far as you know?
January 4, 2004 at 9:13 pm #8756Bill,
His son Jesse Williams was b.1896 and d. 3/11/1938 in Kentucky.
Lodge Williams may have been born in Georgia, we don’t have a date or place of birth for him. So far there is more information on the Warner’s than the Williams. Emma Warner was born in Kentucky in 1901 and died there in 1934 , her mom Louella Warner died in Ky, no place of birth given. Edith Williams m. Fred Easley b. 12-22-1932 Georgia, d. 12-27-1976 in Georgia. She doesn’t know much more than that. She lives in Ohio now.
Let me know if you run across anything, and “Thanks”!

Sorry. I’ve taken several shots at this and have not turned up even one of them. (That excludes Edith Williams since she was born in 1931 and the latest available census is for 1930.) I think this is the first time I’ve ever ran into this situation. It’s possible they went by other first names.
There were two Lodge Williams in 1920 Shreveport, La., but nothing that ties back so I don’t think these are your guy.
I checked every Jesse Williams in 1920 & 1930 Kentucky and every Warner in Jefferson Co (Louisville) Ky without turning them up. If you find out anything else on any of them, let me know and I’ll take another look. Bill
