Just go to your control panel, edit options, at the bottom you can upload a small image. It can’t be more than 111 pixels in height or width. There’s lots available for free on the internet if you don’t want to use a photo.
If anybody wants me to shrink down an image, just sent it to me.
February 4, 2004 at 4:41 am #8929Linda how would I go about using either one or several of the images that I have there already?
February 4, 2004 at 4:41 am #8935Did you get the email I sent you? I sized one you’ve given me and have it in the images folder on site.
February 4, 2004 at 4:41 am #8956Linda how do I access that image?
February 4, 2004 at 4:41 am #8961Click the ‘user cp” button above, then “edit options” At the bottom, select “add avatar” then the last window from the bottom will let you enter the url I gave you where I uploaded yours.

February 4, 2004 at 4:41 am #9018Okay, I figured it out. I can add anybody’s avatar from the control panel. If anybody wants one, and can’t get it to work from their user control panel, just email the image to me and I’ll set it up for you.

February 4, 2004 at 4:41 am #9023Linda,
Thanks for helping with the picture. Wish others would do it so I can relate a face to the message.

February 4, 2004 at 4:41 am #9024Yes, Brenda, but everyone else’s pix are so good. I just had a passport pic taken that I hoped would be good enough. It’s not something I am going to use!

February 4, 2004 at 4:41 am #9025Well, I decided to take the plunge……I know……..blonde hair and blue eyed…who would have thought…with Saponi and Melungeon, but I am WHO I am !!! I guess that Appalachia Irish won out when GOD created me. Seriously I agree with Brenda, it is nice to related a face with the sender.

PS Brenda did you have your surgery yet?
February 4, 2004 at 4:41 am #9026Bushtick,
You could fit right in with my children. Their father is a Mayflower descendant and has blond hair. All four of my kids took after him with one exception. He is now bald and my kids still have plenty of hair. I had dark brown hair but wouldn’t know it now with all the gray. Of course I earned every one of those gray hairs and wouldn’t trade them for a bottle of dye.
No surgery yet. I go tomorrow for an enternal ultra sound. The surgeon wants to compare it with the one taken in January when they found the mass to see if it has grown or changed in any way. I figure I could be in the hospital by the end of the week. I will let Linda know when I go in and will send her my daughter ‘s cell # so she can get in touch with Tina if need be. The EKG, echo gram, and stress test came back okay. Doctor says my body may be falling apart but my heart is beating strong. Guess that is a big plus.
Cindy: Pix can’t be that bad……take a chance.

February 4, 2004 at 4:41 am #9028Hello Brenda,
With 6 siblings ……..we are almost split down the middle when it comes to appearances. Half are olive skinned, grey eyed with dark brown/black curly hair. Then there are us with light skin, blonde hair and blue eyes.
My father ( Collins) was very light skinned, but had black curly hair and grey/blue eyes. My mother ( Mullins) has olive skin and auburn curly hair and also grey eyes. However she was a towheaded blonde until around age 12-13 years old. Two of my siblings did the same thing.
I am praying for you and the upcoming surgery…..GOD is in control with this and I am confident that things will work out for the best……..and yes, a healthy heart is a blessing!

February 4, 2004 at 4:41 am #9042Hello Ladies and thank you for this Linda.
Well that is an old pic of me, I laugh that when I used to do work shops ( occasionally still do) and I only had spoken to the people over the phone they get the idea that Iam a typical looking Native American, in this case Canadian, well now when I show up they ask who I am with a “found dumb” look on thier faces!?, and too think that they get this over wieght white guy instead.! It’s good for a laugh now!
(There is a better pic in the artist article on this site if you want to see me w/o the rabbit teeth and slopped eyes.
The dark hair and eyes issue verse’s the blond blue eyes is interesting I’d bet that many of our families all share in this , I have sib’s that are all different , black hair blue eyes blond w/ brown eyes, even as far back as my grandmothers sibs for sure.
I’d say it’s just good camo’, all the best Tom
