Is anyone familiar with these books? If so, what do you think, are they worth buying?

Patty,

Guess it depends on one’s area of interest. The first one on that list “Frontier Virginia 1770-1774” looks interesting to me, but the prices of those books on ebay look like new book prices.

I always try continuitypress.com – Pat Spurlock Elder’s book company or appletons.com where you can read a synopsis of the contents. I’ve found that buying a book new isn’t necessarily more expensive than buying a used book on ebay 🙂

I’d suggest you go to continuitypress.com and over on the left, “search” for those books in Pat’s stock. They might be cheaper.

Thanks Bill! I’m always cautious about buying on ebay, and usually check book prices at Amazon.com before bidding. This is one of those things Amazon doesn’t have and I didn’t have any idea where to “shop around”.
