Looking for some information on the Beavers family.
My cousins wife has Beavers, Arrington, Sanders, Marsh, Johnson, Higginbottam, Andrews, and Smith lines.
Presumedly they come from Louisiana.
Here is what I have on them so far as per Lane Smith.
Carlos Calvin Beavers Jr. was the son of Carlos Calvin Beavers Sr. and Rebecca Higginbottam. They may have resided in the Pollock, LA area and or Alexandria, LA.
Carlos Calvin Beavers Sr.’s parents were Lela May Smith and Ira Hamilton Beavers.
Rebecca Higginbottam’s parents were Sadie Andrews and Albie Higginbottam.
Carlos Jr. married Bobbie Jean Arrington. Bobbie Jean Arrington was born in either Tarrant County or Harris County, TX in 1963.
Bobbie Jean’s parents are Joyce Marie Sanders and Bobby George Arrington.
Joyce’s parents were Edna Louise Marsh and Bennie David Sanders.
Bobby George’s parents were Mamie Leona Johnson and Leero Arrington.
This is all I have on them at present but Lane has told me she will get the dates and all the places as soon as possible. When she does I will post them here. Their family also has the story of Indian blood with the Black Dutch story as well. Lane says that from what she understood they came from LA, TX, and possibly Ark. I will find out more in the near future.

Do a search for Beaver here. There was some discussion a while back about the Beaver who marries into my Green line. Bess found a reference to Ann Beaver, who marries a Green, belonging to the same church as John Van Meter who married a sister of Joseph Brandt (OH). They were part of the Senecas of the Sandusky and I believe that the church was the Wyandot mission, although I may be misremembering this part.
And, the name can also be Bieber.

Maybe it was a private email that I am remembering. Bess found a note that I subsequently found, that an Ann Beaver in my family (not direct line), who was married to a Green (some kind of gg..-uncle), were active in the same church that John Van Meter belonged to. He was married to a sister of Joseph Brandt. They visited the Greens in their home at one point with one or two of the brothers. I found this information in something online myself later. I am not sure where.

I was going through my Johnson information and came across some Beavers.
Annie Pearl Tower’s second husband was Alfred Wilson Beavers b. March 25, 1919 McClure, OH he passed away in Maumee, OH Lucas County.
He was the son of John Beavers and Olie Johnson.
Annie and Alfred had the following children:

4th she married alfred wilson beavers he died on family trip from alabama to ohio he died in tennessee he is buried in waterville on they family documented as coming from switerland/ireland the johnson/letray have this information he grew up in mcclure ohio they had julie michael beavers and john nathiel beavers he changed his name to christian
