Native American genealogy research from the Piedmont of NC & VA
Hi,
Not too long ago, I purchased a video called, “Black Indians: An American Story,” and I thought it was great.
Those who have seen it, what are your thoughts/comments? For those of you who have not seen it, I highly recommend purchasing the video.
I could not find it in regular stores so I went on Amazon.com and purchased it. Personally, I had a hard time finding information via video regarding Black Indians and I wish there was more footage out there.

I purchased a copy at Town Creek Indian Mound, in Mt. Giliad, NC.
An excellent treatment, but it pretty much ignores the southeast and concentratses on New England
I felt the same way about South Eastern Indians not being represented as much as the New England Indians. But, I was glad that Black Indians in general were being recognized.
