Catherine Lanier's Ethnicity

I know I’ve posted previously on my {and several others} connection/s to the Bass/e family. I’ve found this family’s history and Native identity is complicated. Myself and several others are descended from the Lanier-Bass marriage.

New research has proven the direct Bass/e line seems to be of African origin. Does anyone here know if Catherine Lanier, wife of William Bass/e had any Native American ties? I read on some sites she might have been a full-blood Nansemond or some other Native nationality. Is this possible?

Maybe someone here knows more about her than I.
