Hello, I’m new to the site. I’ve just started researching my family history on my own and I’m having a hard time finding information. I’m looking for information on my mother’s great great grandmother–Anne (Walker) Travis and other family members. My mother’s grandmother was Leana Dale Easter. I did see an earlier post, but I didn’t see any current info. Any help is appreciated.

Now I did notice you had the name “walker” in your list……It just so happens that my good friend and cherokee elder has that last name….Levi Walker…..he is here in Ga.
I’ll do some researching for you real quick and see what I can come up with.
Maggie Nesbit….Georgia…..listed on the Guion Miller Cherokee roll seeking enrollment….I’d say she applied around 1898-1903. I’ll show the rest of the surnames you mentioned thats on the Guion Miller roll seeking enrollment to the Cherokee.
Remember where it says “I.T” this means they was living in Oklahoma aka Indian Territory.
