I have found new information that my grandmother Luella C.Coleman dob 1896 was born in Clover Town, Halifax Co. V.A. along with her parents. Her father’s name was Wyatt Dabney Coleman dob 1870, his father was named William, dob 1835 and his mother ‘s name was Caladonia. William named his daughter Saluda Coleman dob 1872. There is a picture of my grandmother that I would like to post if someone can tell me how to post it.
I would be very grafeful.

Where your great grandmother also both in Halifax Co. My grandmother’s mother had died
by the nineth hundreds so I don’t know her name. My great grandfather has remarried to someone
names Mary Thomas who also born in Halifax Co. I am teying to send for my grandmother’s BC in
hopes of finding out her mother’s name.

Hello Linda. Please contact me asap. I’m blood relations with you. Wyatt Coleman’s mother or grandmother was Seminole Indian. My records are boxed at the moment but I can find that for you. There is another Native American in your Coleman line but they aren’t positive about her tribe. My maternal grandmother’s paternal parents were Caroline Spraggins-Shepperson and Steven Shepperson – but we appear to be related via a number of branches. All my kin are from Clover. My 2nd great grandma was Sally Owen-Boyd also from Clover. We’ve been trying to identify her people but it’s been hard without being down in Virginia. I suspect I will find answer about her in Roanoke or Salem area. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi, I am very excited to hear from you, I missed placed my password and just found it. yes you are right my great grandmother was Eliza Jane Shepperson and yes Carolina and Steven Shepperson are apart of my family. I also have Sally married to a Jack Shepperson, is Sally related to you? I can wait to see some of your documents.
