The upgrade’s done, what do you all think? Did anybody get the emails notifying everyone that the board was back up? I’ve gotten hundreds of emails notifying me of bad addresses, or maybe it just didn’t work. Let me know if you got an email from me from about 7 pm tonight (5/10/06).
Wow, it’s different! Haven’t had time to explore yet though. Looks pretty nice though. The controls look more up-to-date and easier to use. Can everyone post pictures now?

OK, here is a picture test. I attempted to attach the image. This family’s father would have been brother-in-law to the son of my ancestor with the Blackfoot ID. He was known to have said he was Irish and Indian. The mother is also known to have been mixed with some picture somewhere where she is dressed NA. Her surname, Mason, is found in the Blackfoot Cemetery.
Nice. Do we need to repost other images we previously posted?
And, I even figured out how to empty my inbox, so now emails to me hopefully will not bounce any more.
That worked good. No, you shouldn’t have to re-post them. They’re all in our basic “images” file and fairly readily identifiable.
There are a number of “skins” we can choose from to dictate the graphical look. And we need to add our “logo” image.
Linda, I got the upgrade notification tonight and thought I’d pay you a visit – EXCELLENT job! The new format is great! I’ll have to look around and post some pictures. Thanks for a great job. Ron
Hi Linda, I didn’t get the message from you via email. I just decided to stop by tonight to see if the site was up. I tried earlier today and it said the site was being upgraded.
But when I came back tonight I had to try several times to get in. It wouldn’t accept my name and password. Finally, after I checked ‘remember me’ it let me in after two or three more tries. That was weird. Same thing happened on my old name a few months ago. That’s why I had to change it back then. But I like the name Dovelady. It was my original aol name 🙂
Anyway, I like what I see so far. I’ll have to play around a little and see what you have here. 😀

I did Jim until I finally clicked on ‘remember me’ then it let me in. Otherwise it didn’t recognize my name or password and I had to try several times just to get in:eek: .. But it finally worked. I really like this color. It’s easy on my eyes. And feels real clean 😀
Linda — I got the email notification at 7:41 PM, but had already had a “Reply to Post” notice from the new board at 7:29 PM. (You were the poster, maybe it was a kind of test.) The time stamps are our local time, EDT, rather than GMT.
Also had a little glitch in the sign-in, it accepted my name and password but then promptly forgot it when I tried a Reply. This time I checked Remember Me. So, we’ll see if it does…
I got the email…and think I am logged in…it did take several log ins and checking the remember me box.
