April 12, 2007 at 8:16 pm #25783The hubby gave me a cordless drill this morning, so I can help build more beds for children when I go to Pine Ridge. I learned how to run one when I was there in March. And I worked a drill press!
I love power tools!
Thanks for the birthday wishes. Like Jack Benny used to say, 39 and holding!

April 12, 2007 at 8:16 pm #25786Happy B-day to you two guys!!!!
Oh Techteach…..you lucky thing you!! One of my dreams is to help construct at least ONE of the 20+ houses I’ve designed. I’ve always loved construction and wish I could use power tools….wear a tool belt….the whole 9 yards – and bang my thumbnail with a hammerhead…..etc. LOL!!!!!
(But of course….I was one of the unlucky kids whose father didn’t want his little girl hanging around the grown menfolk). I didn’t ever wanna build a doghouse….I just wanted to go for the HOUSE!
Of course I’m much older now. I’m trying to figure out how to copyright some of my floor plans and get in touch with some “trustworthy” people to get my custom home business off the ground. ANYWHOO……………yada, yada, yado
Happy B-day again!!!!
April 12, 2007 at 8:16 pm #25794It is my hope that you both are having a very blessed birthday filled with love from family and friends.
with love, Lisa
April 12, 2007 at 8:16 pm #25989Happy Birthday Teachtech and kpatrice…:D
April 12, 2007 at 8:16 pm #25993And I hope you had a wonderful birthday! I went to see the Celtic Woman Saturday night, as part of my bday present. Wonderful! I also got a cordless drill, so I have been working on my new trailer that I am taking out to Pine Ridge later this summer. I learned how to use them when building beds on Pine Ridge.

April 12, 2007 at 8:16 pm #25999I watched Celtic Women on PBS during the fundraiser…they were fantastic! I can’t imagine being there in person…it must have been awesome.
And there’s nothing wrong with a woman with power tools…
April 12, 2007 at 8:16 pm #26001They WERE fabulous! Wish we had been seated a bit closer though. I had to rely on the screens at the side of the stage for close-up viewing, and frankly, the TV is better than they were. Their drummers are wonderful! And the music in person, WOW!

April 12, 2007 at 8:16 pm #26009Happy Birthday you two and I agree there is nothing wrong with a woman gtting power tools. I will celeblrate an “older than Jack Benny” birthday on May 3rd. Wonder what I’ll get??
April 12, 2007 at 8:16 pm #26011Well, just so you all know. The power tools are helping to fix up a trailer that will be taken out to Pine Ridge later this summer (probably with donations in it) and in the future. And, since I learned how to use them at Pine Ridge in March, I will use the skills again building beds next March for children out there.

April 12, 2007 at 8:16 pm #26017Happy Belated Birthday. Does that make you an Aries? My mom in an Aris, and so is Felicia. Good at thinking ahead. Just what I need.
April 12, 2007 at 8:16 pm #26018Hi Linda~~~~No, I am not an Aries. I am a Taurus. My birthday is coming up on May 3rd. You know what they, erroneously :-), say about Taurus. I might be “strong willed”, but not stubborn:-). Thanks for the Happy Birthday wish anyway. ~~~Sophronia
April 12, 2007 at 8:16 pm #26020Yes, Linda, I am an Aries. My totem is hawk with this description : the hawk is a messenger of insight, adaptability and openness. Hawk people aim to initiate and lead, and may be impulsive from time to time. They want to establish individuality while still being accepted by the group. 🙂
If anyone wants to look their own up, here’s the URL I found this : http://www.animaltotem.com/horoscope.html . I have used this web site in teaching. The students find it interesting to look up their totems.
