I should add…I will be in the Greensboro area…visiting my college and won’t be venturing too far South; just looking for historical sites. Thanks.

Yes, my husband and I have discussed staying for the Pow wow and it looks good right now. I appreciate your invitation to show us the area on the Flat my family lived; it is very kind. I have enjoyed reading your posts on the cemeteries you have visited.

I would’ve liked to be there for the OBSN Pow wow this weekend, but my baby takes precedence; she’s graduating tomorrow:D . Thanks again; I will keep in touch.

Note that the last one is William Byrd’s camp. I pass by that marker every time I visit my folks (like tomorrow). They live in Ridgeway. The marker is 50 miles or less from Greensboro.

I will definately stop…we should be in the area about the 19th…I am very excited and have many things I want to check out and so much to see…hope I can get it all in. I am going to visit my dad, sibs, aunts and cousins and would like to bring some pictures to share and maybe this will open the door for some family history sharing. Thanks again Bee.:)
