Wouldn’t surprise me — those surnames, Allen and Lewis, look familiar.
There is lots about my Nances (now that I have the name — thank you, Bill!) on the LDS site, and like almost all my mother’s lines, they seem to end in NC or a few in southern VA.
And Nance looks familiar from someplace else — probably another line — they seem to repeat if I take it far enough back. (More than one Moore and Vaughan line, for instance.)
